I'm a philosopher of biology/medicine.

I'm a Lecturer in Philosophy at the Open University.

Previously, I was a postdoc in the 'Return of the Organism in the Biosciences' group at Ruhr Universität Bochum (https://rotorub.wordpress.com/). My postdoctoral project explored questions of gender, race and fatness, boundaries between the biological and the social, and concepts of health and disease in the postgenomic age.

My PhD project focused on conceptual challenges in cultural selection.

My broader interests include feminist epistemology/philosophy of science, philosophy of race, and decolonial theory.
